Cookie Policy

This page explains in detail every cookie PunoTani.com uses. We've kept it short because — spoiler — there isn't much to say. We don't track visitors.

1. What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file that a site stores in your browser, usually to remember information between visits (such as whether you're logged into an account).

2. Cookies PunoTani.com currently uses

Under the law (EU ePrivacy Directive and Albanian legislation), "technically necessary" cookies — those without which the site cannot function properly — do not require your prior consent. Both cookies above fall into this category: without them, you would not be able to log into the admin panel or submit forms securely.

3. Cookies we do NOT use

Tracking cookies — none, in any form.
Advertising cookies — we don't display ads, so no such cookies either.
Google Analytics or similar analytics tools — we use none.
Social media cookies (Facebook Pixel, etc.) — we use none.
Third-party cookies for profiling or ad retargeting — none.

4. View statistics — how they work without cookies

When you view a job listing, the system counts an additional view for that listing, so the company knows how much interest their job posting has received. This counting happens entirely server-side, with no cookie or personal identifier involved — it simply increments by 1 the total view count for that listing, with no link to your identity.

In the future, we plan to add slightly more detailed statistics for companies (e.g. views per day, in chart form), always in aggregated and anonymous form — never tracking individual visitors. If this changes, we will update this page before activating it.

5. How to manage or delete cookies

Since the only cookies we use are technically necessary, deleting them simply means you'll be logged out of your session (if logged in anywhere). If you still want to manage them, every browser allows this from its settings:

Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
Firefox: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and site data
Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage website data
Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

6. Changes to this policy

If we add any new cookie in the future — for example for the statistics mentioned above — we will clearly note it here before activation, along with the update date.
